whoops.

Once again, I haven't updated this in a while.  I'm just really busy and will do it when I can.

So yeah.  A recap...  went to Bri's cabin, band camp, my sweet sixteen, got my license, got in an accident three days later, guard practice, saw accepted, got in a big fight with gideon... twice.. two days in a row, been lazy, want to sleep, good night.

My biggest pet peeve

Sometimes when I'm bored I'll fill out surveys on myspace.  One of the recent ones had the question of what is my biggest pet peeve.  At the time I just rambled off some things that bother me like stoners, drunks, and posers.  Something just came up and BAM there it is.. my pet peeve.  People who break plans.  My mom and I had made plans that we would go to a movie tonight.  I love going out with my mom.  She said she would leave at 6:30 so she could be home by 7.  It's currently 7:30 and she's just leaving.  The latest showing for our movie was at 7:25.  I'm not really in a good mood because of the things that happened between Gideon and me today.  Things have gone downhill from there.

When I make plans with people I plan things around it.  If I have nothing going on then I can do something with my dad or something.  There are really two people who come in mind when I say this.  My boyfriend and a close friend of mine.  We'll make plans for the following week or something then like the day before or the day of one of them will call me and say they can't do something.  It kinda ruins my day because I've been looking forward to it.  Also, by that time it's too late to make plans with someone else.

But yeah, I'm currently making plans with some friends so yay something to do.

Basically I have been a failure at updating this.  It's been over two weeks.  blah.  so basically an overview of what has been going on for the last two weeks is this...

Gideon and I got back together on his birthday.  How that happened is really between us, but it was cute.. that's for sure.

July 19th- 23rd I went to Country Jam with my dad and Bethany.  We just spent the night at our parking spot thing in our lovely RV.  YAY!  heh.  the next day we went to country jam.  we got to see ryan shupe and the rubber band, miranda lambert, leanne rymmes (sp?!), and KEITH URBAN! <3  it was a great show and we all got henna tattoos to remember the day.  on friday we left our jam campsite and went to baker and spent the rest of the weekend bumming around.  :)

I spent the good part of sunday through wednesday with stephanie and gideon.  then friday the sr. high came over my house for a movie night.  we watched shes the man, ate pizza that ruth made :), and then played life.  they all left around 10:30.  on saturday I went to see united 93 with my mom.  sunday was the usual church and running errands with my mom.  she was on call so we had to run into the hospital.  we went over and picked gideon up from his dads house... about 5 miles away from home my mom got called back in so we had to turn around and go back to st paul.  gideon and i sat around the chaplin office for a while before we were able to leave again.  we actually made it home that time!  it was horrible since there was no air conditioning in my car.  blah.  me and gideon watched pride and prejudice.. his choice.  heh.  he had to leave at 9 tho so just ended up going to bed around 9:30.

yesterday i cleaned my room like crazy.  gideon came over again today around 6.  we watched the count of monte cristo while eating some delicious microwave popcorn. :)   heh.  oddly enough we had just enough time to watch the brave little toaster to the rescue after it was over.  it was a great night.  im gonna miss him tho... hes going to montana for a week.  but yeah, im having a garage sale on thursday so im pricing things.. should get back to that.  ciao!

Was it a dream?

My Ipod had been missing for like a month now.  Last night I was going through the clothes on my top bunk trying to find a tank top to wear to guard when I felt that a pair of jeans had some things in its pocket.  I dig in it and find some change and... bet you guessed it... my ipod!  I was excited.  So yeah I put it down and then found a tank top.  This morning my ipod is no where to be found.  I checked all of the places I would have put it, or dropped it.  Not on my floor, desk, nightstand, stereo, or in my purse.  So that got me thinking... was it just a dream that I had?   I was having a good dream last night when my mom woke me up looking for her phone charger at like 7 this morning.  I can't remember what I was dreaming about.  It's frustrating.  But yeah... I want my ipod now.  I got used to not having it and now I want to listen to something while I clean out the garage.  Blah!  I hate dreams.

DCI Mankato

Yesterday Stephanie and I went to the DCI show in Mankato.  We left around 4:30 and I drove down there.  On our way we got tacos and slushies.  Mmmm.  We determined that the blue rasberry slushies at Super America are better than the ones at the theatre.  Who knew?  Anyways.. when we got to Mankato parking was impossible, then it was even worse trying to find a place to sit.  We ended up getting pretty good seats, though they were on the 20.  O well, it was general seating.   The lineup was Chops, Goveneirs, Blue Stars, Blue Devils, Cavaliers, and Minnesota Brass.  The Cavaliers and Blue Devils were AMAZING!  I love Brass' show this year as well.  While the guard was setting up we got Laura's attention who then pointed us out to Heather who then pointed us out to Alison and so on.  Word spreads fast through the Champlin people.  hehe.  Heather was like "Don't watch me!!" hehe.  Well we saw her.  After the show we went down to their booth and signed up for next year.  Though I don't know if I'll march next year or wait until I graduate.  We went and talked to all of our staff.  Heather came over and was like "All I have to say is do as I say, not as I do."  They weren't too pleased with their show, but I still liked it.  Though that's really how it always ends up with the guard.  We left around 10 for our two hour car ride home.  Steph and I sat in the back texting and eating kettle corn.  hehe.  Stephanie ended up spending the night... again.  Third time in the last four nights.  I don't mind!  We stayed up watching Gilmore Girls for a while before we both ended up falling asleep.

Between performances Steph was a little camera happy...
